Balsa Towers

My Pop Bottle Rocket

On my rocket’s first try it didn’t do so great. The rocket only went up maybe 30 feet but a good rocket is always around 50 or 60 feet.

Lego Robotics

My robot did extremely well on me telling it what to do. Wait? isn’t that what robots are suppoused to do. Well anyways I got through the all of the chapters and flew through it pretty easy. For me, it wasn’t really hard at all. You just have to watch the video and do what it tells you to do.

The actual programming of the robot wasn’t real hard either. The buttons were color coated and so it made it real easy to the gears and that stuff. The Lego company made it real easy for me to get around th programs and that is a key to my success.

The things that challenged me the most was finding the right parts to put on th robot. After you’ve found the part you have to construct it then test it. Overall, the lego robotics project was very fun and I wish i had one of those at home.

Do you like sports?

Me? I love sports. I love going outside and doing what I love, whether it is soccer, basketball, or football, I like getting active and being healthy. I have soccer practice every Wednesday and Thursday so that’s when I hang out with my soccer buds and make sports even more funner. I think every sport is better as long as you got a friend to play with. When I’m not with my friends I like practicing by myself to get better. So, tell me about you. What kinds of sports do you play?

My Balsa Tower

What challenged me most about making the beautiful creation was not getting the sides done in time. We had to get one side done a day, and we probably did a side in a day and a half. I learned that do not rush if you are making a serious project. We had the tower done in time and tought it looked pretty good, until we got to testing…What we should do next time is making our sticks the right size so It will all fit correctly. Also spend more time on looking it over and make sure they’re isn’t any weak spots
